McCall

The kids and I took a little trip to McCall to visit Helen and Joe and we had the best time. The kids were in heaven. We can't wait to go back!! The 3 little fishermen.
Cody did not want to be troubled by picture taking

Madilyn actually caught a fish. She was so happy!!

Oh, Cody. He was completely consumed with these army men. Nothing else mattered to him except finding these little guys that had washed up on shore and keeping them from his sisters. It's a good thing Helen bought him some to take home.

Ice skating was a hit with the kids. I could hardly watch. I was so nervous.

Look at his tiny skates. So cute. Cody was the best skater. He just took off because he has no fear!

Concentrate.

Emma was good to. She had her dance experience behind her. She left those buckets behind.

Madilyn caught on too. Look at her go.

Helen was great to take them out on the ice.

After the skate we had lunch with hot cocoa and then Helen took us to the pottery store so the kids could paint. They did really good.
We had so much fun. There was never a dull moment. It is such a beautiful place. The kids loved staying up late watching movies in bed and looking out at the sail boats and geese on the lake. There bed was right in front of the window so they felt like they were floating on the lake all night. We miss it already. Thanks Aunt Helen and Uncle Joe!!

My Ballerina

Emma was definately the "star" of the show. You would not believe the amount of compliments she received. She has natural talent, that's for sure!! (More pictures to come)

Here is what makes me smile!

A few days ago it was really hot so we brought out the pool and had some fun in the sun. Daisy loved playing in the water just as much as the kids. My sun-kissed bathing beauty

The girls and I went out and bought swim suits the other day. They just had to pick suits that came with skirts, of course. All the way home they begged me to take pictures of them and send the photos to a magazine. I think they could definately pass as cover girls.
a little sweet and a little Sassy
Cody was sick of his swim suit so I suited him up in some undies instead

Cody sporting what he calls his "wobble gobbles"

Too cool in his batman sunglasses

Emma had her kindergqrten shots the other day. She was so brave!! I can't believe I'm sending another baby off to school this fall. Makes me kinda sad.
Fun at the park!!
I love these kids so much. I cannot get enough of them lately. I've been extra sentimental these days. I wish they could stay little forever. I know there will come a time when I miss Cody running his cars over my feet while I'm in the kitchen cooking dinner. These little ones will be all grown up before I even know it. Madilyn has been saying the darndest things lately. the other day she hugged me and said "I like hugging you now because you are like a giant marshmellow, a quishy one" I laughed and told her that was kinda rude. She felt bad because she meant it as a compliment..... She likes my pregnant belly. She also mentioned not to long ago that she was not going to be a stay at home mom. What do I do that makes my job look so horrible?? She told me if she decides to get married she would only have one child and would drop him or her off at day care on her way to work. She really wants to be a teacher. I suggested she teach before she has kids and then maybe go back to work when they are in school, maybe she could even work at the same school. She did think about it for a minute. She makes me laugh.

Uncle Matt got Married

Ryans little brother Matt married Shanae on the 21st. Don't they look cute?? Here are some pictures. Enjoy!!

All the kids were sick. In fact I had to leave before dinner was served with madilyn because she had a fever and tummy ache. I took Cody along with me, do to his behavior issues. How embarassing!! 3 sick kids made for a long weekend but we were glad we were able to make it down for the wedding. Congrats Matt and Shanae!!

Friday Fun Day

Today at preschool was Friday Fun day. Cody and Emma got to be a "chef for a day" They made aprons and chef hats and they even got to bake some bread. This was Codys first time at preschool and from what I hear he made himself known. Apparently he had to be told no a couple of times......he folded his arms and said "I'm mad at you teacher" one time he went as far as to throw himself on the floor. (He only got mad twice) The teacher said he did really good and has excellent verbal skills. Yes, we all know Cody has Excellent over the top verbal skills. Emma told me that in the toy room cody called to get everyones attention and said "I don't like any of you" and then he said to a little girl, " I have super powers and you don't" and started doing kung- fu and jumping in circles all around the poor girl. Oh, Cody!! At the end of the day when I picked them up I complimented him on being brave and staying without me and thanked Emma for taking care of him. Cody corrected me and said " NO, I took care of 'Hemma' "

The Zoo

Last Friday Madi was out of school and we had cabin fever really bad, so I decided to be brave and take the kids to the zoo.....by myself. I had never ventured to downtown Boise and Cody is so very unpredictable but I was feeling adventurous. So we ate an early lunch and off we went. I knew it would be cold, but ya know what?? It didn't matter. That's how bad I needed to get out of the house. We ended up having a really good time. Cody had a few "moments" but it was ok because we were outside and actually there were only like 2 other people there, so whatever. He was more into chasing the canadian geese. He didn't care to much about the animals he was more worried about his spiderman guy that he insisted on bringing, but, He did like the spider monkeys. This was taken in front of where the Zebras and Giraffes were suppose to be. A lot of the exibits were empty and all the little drink carts were closed. I'm guessing they'll be back in the Spring.

Along the way we passed by a tortoise that looked a lot like Madilyn.

I spy a Praire Dog and a brown eyed girl. This was Codys favorite place. We had to come back to this one several times.

The Lions and Tigers were our favorites. What a fun day!!
